Red Button Issue
The show at the BFCAT was a big success. Shortly before show time, I had my back to the room while hooking up equipment and running a sound check. When I turned around, I found the room packed, front to back, shoulder to shoulder. It was a great way to start the evening. The guys who opened up for me did a great job, and I'll probably do a show with them again. The rest of the show went well, and I think everyone had a good time. So I'm sorry I can't share it with you this time. Like I said before, I had planned to record the show, and sell a bootleg. That will have to wait for another performance. I brought all the necessary equipment, armed it, hooked it all up properly, checked the levels, made final minor adjustments, and began to play. I did not, however, press the "record" button. Therefore, I can't sell the CDs I hoped to offer this time. Oh well. That just means I'll have to make it even better the next time. Working on planning that now....I'll keep you posted. Hope to see you there! |
"That thing's operational!"
The new website is officially up and running! Browse around, check it out. I'm especially excited about the new "music" page, powered by Bandcamp. I also want to let you all know that I'll be performing at Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea on October 15, 2011. I'm going to record a live bootleg of the evening, which will be available for sale through this site. In fact, I am taking pre-orders now on the music page. The official release is set for November 1, but I may release it sooner if I have the time to do so. Also, check out the "mailing list" page. If you sign up, you will receive an exclusive track! I hope you like my new online home as much as I do. Please send questions and comments to the address listed on the "contact" page. |
Site Relaunch
I'm happy to announce that I have been completely redesigning my website. As of this writing, I'm in the process of putting the last touches on the new format, and I hope to have everything in place soon so that I can share it with you. Things to see on the new site include: • A new "music" page (hosted by Bandcamp) that will let you listen to released projects, with high-quality downloads available for purchase. View the album art, or choose from a variety of really cool visualizations. Eventually, I plan to have CDs and other merchandise available from this page as well. • A place to sign up for my mailing list, in exchange for a free song download! This will give me a way contact you occasionally to let you know about new releases, special offers, and other goings-on. • A list of upcoming performances. I'm scheduling shows right now, and I'll add them to the "shows" page as the list grows. You can click the 'map' links to get directions to any of these from Google Maps. At the same time, I'll be working on recording music, and writing more. I am incredibly excited about the irons I have in the fire, and I can't wait to share them with you. Check back soon for more updates. |
